George Parmaklis was born on the 18 th of April 1983 in Nicosia Cyprus. Mr. Parmaklis completed his LLB with honors from the University of Nicosia in 2009. Mr. Parmaklis was called in to the Cyprus BAR Association in 2010. Soon after, he enrolled under the International Commercial Law LLM program of the University of Cardiff which he completed in 2011 with merit. Returning to Cyprus Mr. Parmaklis was listed as a litigator at Velaris and Velaris LLC, one of the most predominant and historic law firms of Cyprus. There he had the opportunity to handle several banking cases whilst he provided several banking organisations with day to day opinions. In 2015 Mr. Parmaklis left the litigator profession in order to pursue a carrier as an internal legal advisor in a major Banking Organization, since he was chosen by National Bank of Greece (CYPRUS) Ltd as its second ever internal legal advisor. After a successful three-year run, Mr. Parmaklis was recruited as an internal legal advisor by APS Debt Servicing Cyprus Ltd as a senior internal advisor. Mr. Parmaklis has excellent  knowledge of the Cypriot Banking Legal system, of the Cypriot Judicial System, Cypriot Contract Law, Cypriot Land Law and Cypriot Companies Law.
